Context
Cabbit is a rapid growing new ride-hailing app available for over 30 cities in the Netherlands. The app aims to bring passengers into contact with local taxi companies rather than platform workers, providing fast and affordable rides across the country – through an easy-to-use mobile app.
Challenge
Helping Cabbit reach more customers and taxi companies to further build out their expansion strategy, with a website that informs and accurately conveys the Cabbit brand.
Branded Graphics
While Cabbit had their own Brand Identity set out, their photography or illustrations were not yet refined. Creating a text-heavy site while staying visually pleasing proved a challenge. To create a friendly and engaging face for their online presence, I reached out to Javasloth Studio to create a colorful and inclusive icon and illustration set.

Strategy & Visual
The Cabbit website was designed to be multifunctional to two main targeted audiences: Customers and Taxi companies. While the site is informational and provides support to both new and existing riders, it also markets the operational benefits and attracts taxi companies to increase Cabbit’s availability. After considering multiple options and sitemaps, we decided the two-colored approach (orange for riders, purple for companies) keeps the content separated.
Development
The fully redesigned Cabbit website was developed using the WordPress Development-stack, and includes innovative features that tie into their mobile app. It is fast, fully responsive and easy to manage.
Some of these features that makes Cabbit stand out from their competition include Lottie Animation integration, a fully multilingual website, smooth scrolling animations, and a fully interactive map of all service regions.
